The boat has an elegant clipper bow and counter stern, with a double skinned teak on oak hull with rich West African mahogany cabin. Lune Valley water tube boiler and 4 ½ + 9 x 6 fully condensing compound steam engine. Eclipse still plies her trade as a hospitality launch; she is capable of seating 8 guests for a silver service luncheon or dinner or up to 12 guests for a buffet.
